Rafael Castillejo was born and raised in San Diego, where he still enjoys living today. As a Schedule Coordinator at Carmel Valley Dental, Rafael plays a key role in helping patients manage their appointments and dental care. His journey into the dental industry began with a desire to make a difference in patients’ lives by ensuring they receive the care they need. For Rafael, the most rewarding part of his job is seeing patients leave the office happy, with a smile on their face.
Rafael knew he was in the right profession when he realized how much he enjoyed interacting with patients and being a part of their dental care journey. Outside of work, Rafael values time spent with his family, which includes his younger brother. He loves going out to dinner or having a movie night with his loved ones. In his free time, you’ll likely find Rafael enjoying San Diego’s natural beauty, whether it’s a trip to the beach or a scenic hike.
